The Tatty K Story

Tatty K (Tania Kunze) lived both in Adelaide and Darwin for a decade each, and now in Brisbane for 15 years. Her young childhood was filled with artistic expression, her teenage years with growing up too fast and in her twenties it was “too much work and not enough play”.

By her mid 20’s, Tania began to question herself and her direction. After much soul searching and a few strokes of luck, she began to pursue a creative career.

Still in Brisbane, over a decade after arriving, she realizes that the experience of shifting, places and mindsets, has been instrumental in shaping her artistic expression.

Tania completed her Advanced Diploma of Ceramics (SBIT) in 2004, and is the current Vice President of Shorncliffe Pottery Club Inc. Tania teaches Pottery and Mixed Media, is an accredited “Precious Metal Clay” Instructor and has also studied Kiln Fired Glass (fusing & slumping).
